The York Rotaract Club was founded in 2010 with the aid of the three Rotary Clubs in York:
Rotary Club of York Ainsty
Rotary Club of York Vikings
Rotary Club of York.
We are the only Rotaract club in York and one of three clubs in District 1040, which covers large parts of North and West Yorkshire.
There are 79 Rotary clubs in this district.
We hold regular meetings on Thursdays at 7.00 pm in the premises of the University of York (room tbc).
Two Thurssdays of the month are reserved for business speakers, one of which is for a personal development topic and the other for a professional matter.
The other two Thursdays of the month are for a social event and for a commitee meeting.
New members, both male and female, are welcome to come along to one of our meetings and join the club!
Prospective members must be 18–30 years of age, show that they are committed to Rotaract, and show that they are of good standing in the community. We bring together people from all walks of life - from solicitors to students, chefs to nurses - all are welcome to join!
